At Tinnin Farms LLC we specialize in the training of horses and working dogs. We Breed, Raise , & Train American Quarter Horses for competition such as reining and ranch events and quality working horses for the ranching industry.
Tinnin Farms also provides services to the canine community such as Aggression, Detection, and Tracking seminars. Additionally we offer services for the procurement of the canine for both basic and advanced courses for Law Enforcement and Military personal. We strive to foster a supportive environment for both horses and their owners, ensuring a successful partnership. And achieve success at every stage of the canines teams training and overall utilization.
Tinnin Farms LLC is proud to partner with Texarkana College to offer a unique, high‑demand Horseshoeing School designed to launch students directly into a rewarding career in the equine industry. With over 55 years of combined experience, our instructors bring extensive knowledge in horseshoeing, training, breeding, and coaching—providing students with an unmatched learning environment rooted in real‑world expertise.

Tinnin Farms offers a unique and specialized services that target a variety equestrian competitors/disciplines and service military, law enforcement, and competitive sport dog teams.
Along with Nathan's extensive background in teaching & farrier work and Anna's very broad equestrian background, Tinnin Farms offers to fellow equestrians an opportunity to learn how to care for their animals along with starting a rewarding career.

At Tinnin Farms LLC, we believe in supporting our local community. We work closely with other equestrian and canine trainers to promote and sustain proven and cutting edge training practices.*
We offer educational seminars in both canine and equine programs. Here at Tinnin Farms we pursue success in teaching people about the importance of proper horsemanship and canine handling while performing their task at hand. We also work with proven local organizations that support our community in helping provide employment to local residences.

Nathan & Anna own and operate Tinnin Farms LLC, with over 55 years of combined services in practical application of teaching & training of canine working dogs and performance horses. We are committed to offering superior products to both our immediate neighbors and broader communities. Our passion for canines & horses, and dedication to sustainable practices has allowed us to grow and expand while maintaining our commitment to quality. Tinnin Farms LLC is a Veteran Owned Company.

This intensive 6‑week program meets 40 hours per week and equips students with the hands‑on skills, professional tools, and practical training needed to begin working immediately upon completion. Farriers are in high demand across the horse industry and surrounding regions, making this course an excellent opportunity for those seeking a stable and profitable career path.
Students will gain foundational and advanced skills in:

Instruction takes place both on the Texarkana College campus and on-site at Tinnin Farms, giving students a blend of classroom learning, shop practice, and real-world experience with live horses.
All tools needed for the course are included in the tuition, and students will keep their full tool set upon graduation—providing everything needed to begin work right away.
